 MY DRESS!!!

After searching for over 8 months I finally found my perfect wedding gown.  :)

I bought it in ivory which works nicely with my skin tone and our wedding colors of navy and apple green.

My Dress is in!

and it fits beautifully!! :) I had forgotten how much I love it!!! My mom and Mark's mom took lots of pictures.. see a few below:

I had my first dress fitting on June 8th, and the dress fits sooooo well that I only need it taken in a little at the very top and a bustle.  After seeing a few different bustle styles I decided to go with the traditional bustle.  Since I had stopped in by myself the nice alterations lady took a quick picture of the bustle pinned up (she didn't pin the right side completely, so that's why it looks a little uneven):

I had my final dress fitting right after my trial up do and make up appointment.  It became much more real when I could see the entire look (hair, makeup, jewelry, shoes, dress) together (I bought my shoes the that day.. yay!).  I'm really happy that my mom and one of my BMs were able to join me!  They are expert dress bustlers now! :)

Something old, something new...

For some reason I really want to find something I can use on my wedding day that will fit with the poem.
